How do you find the dogs for the project?

We've all got good connections to breeders abroad and we are always on the lookout for interesting puppies. Sometimes a puppy is found through an acquaintance, sometimes through an ad. When looking for new dogs the most important thing is that the dog really is the true type of JRT: the active little dog with a great mind.

In the second breeding group part of the dogs are from so called old Finnish lines (bred from dogs that were already imported to Finland when the breed was approved by the KC). These lines, though once common, are now in danger of disappearing altogether unless we work together to assure that the old lines are kept alive, no matter what the current breeding trends are.
